Grapes : Montepulciano. Cerasuolo translates as "cherry-red". Cool summer nights, windswept days, and thin, stony soils characterize the section of vineyard from which the fruit for this wine is sourced. Spontaneous fermentation initiated and carried out by indigenous yeasts add further to the complex aromas and flavors of this wine. Food pairing : grilled tuna, swordfish, quail, white meats, or mixed pasta salads.

100% Friulano. Imagine a Pinot Grigio, but more interesting: green, fruity & full. A lovely dry white. Food pairing : Ideal as an aperitif, served with Parma ham and light first courses.

Buccianera Chianti Podere della Filandra

Grape : 100% Sangiovese Smooth, with an agreeable warm sensation, balanced by a refreshing crispness. The tannins are youthful but already supple and well integrated into the body. The finish is very long and displays the red berry fragrances encountered on the nose. Food pairing : Medium-aged cheeses and red meats. First courses of pasta and rice, also fine with ethnic dishes.
